A Woman of Many Hats in the Gospel Music Arena

Kenya C. Wheeler is truly a woman of many hats when it comes to the Gospel Music Arena. She is a Promoter, A&R Representative, Consultant, Public Relations Specialist, Radio Personality, Host, and Media Executive with a passion for creating platforms that provide exposure and opportunities within the Gospel community.

​

A native of South Florida, Kenya was reared in the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) under the leadership of the late Pastor Elder Herbert L. Young at New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. in Delray Beach, Florida. Her church upbringing helped establish the strong foundation of faith and service that continues to guide her professional and personal journey.

Kenya is the CEO of KCW Multi Media Group, an organization dedicated to partnering with artists, ministries, churches, and businesses to provide comprehensive marketing, promotions, public relations, consulting, and media services—all under one roof. Through KCW Multi Media Group, Kenya works to connect talent and organizations with the exposure, resources, and promotional opportunities they need to grow.

Throughout her career, Kenya C. Wheeler has served in numerous capacities with artists, churches, ministries, and organizations. Her professional experience includes working with Felicia Adderly and Lady VI, The New C Lord C's of Miami, Pastor Victor Robertson, and the South Florida Gospel Singers, where she has served as a booking agent, public relations specialist, and radio servicer.

Kenya has also worked with WJOC Praise Radio as a radio personality and is the founder of The Praise & Worship Experience Black History Concert & Awards, an event created to celebrate Gospel music, faith, culture, and the accomplishments of individuals making a difference in the community.

Affectionately branded as “CEO,” Kenya C. Wheeler is passionate about creating platforms that elevate the Gospel and give artists, ministries, and businesses opportunities to be seen and heard. Her work is centered around exposure, connection, promotion, and keeping the Gospel message at the forefront.

Kenya also presents and hosts a video show that reflects her authentic personality and approach to ministry and media—“Keeping It Real in the Gospel.” Through her media presence, she continues to interview, highlight, promote, and celebrate individuals who are making an impact in the Gospel community.

In July 2018, Kenya and her team were blessed to launch their own independent Internet Gospel radio station, featuring Gospel music and talk radio. The station became another avenue through which Kenya could fulfill her vision of using media to promote Gospel artists, ministries, and positive messages.

​

Kenya C. Wheeler is a woman whose journey is rooted in faith, family, service, and purpose. She continues to use her gifts, experience, and platform to open doors, create opportunities, and shine a light on the many voices within the Gospel Music Arena.

Kenya resides in Delray Beach, Florida, and is the proud mother of Di’Giovanni Anya Nelson, grandmother of Kenya V. Wheeler, and wife of Carlton S. Dixon.
